How can I have my surgery organised if I come from abroad?

The team will help you organising your journey and hospital stay. If you send us an email to info@drpiliortopedico.it with your request we will be happy to help.

How is my hospital stay going to be?

If you will need a surgical procedure this will be organised by our team. Depending on the kind of procedure you might receive via email a form to fill up and return regarding your general health. This information is useful to us to help you. When at the hospital you will need to go to the admission desk and they will explain you what to do next. You will be admitted to the ward where we will carry out all the necessary for your hospitalisation. If you have specific questions do no hesitate to ask.

How long will I stay in hospital?

Some minor operation will be carried out as Day Surgery but for major surgery 3-7 days is the standard.

Where is the Hospital in Milan where you perform surgery?

The  Columbus Clinic Centre is in Via Michelangelo Buonarroti, 48

Where is the Hospital in Lecco where you perform surgery?

The Mangioni Hospital in Lecco is in Via Leonardo Da Vinci, 49, in front of the Lake next to the Kennedy Bridge.

How long will I stay in hospital after surgery?

Some operations are performed as day-surgery, for major surgery you will need to stay in hospital for 2 to 7 days.

Will I need physio?

Physiotherapy is key to success in some operations.If physiotherapy is indicated we will prescribe you. In any case you will be explained what are the best exercises to do for the best rehabilitation
