What is bowlegs and what are the causes?

Bowlegs are quite common and can eventually cause knee arthritis. They can be corrected surgically to avoid the development of knee pain and arthritis. There are different surgical techniques available to the surgeon in order to correct these deformities such as external fixtures and plates. My preferred techniques utilises a computerised external fixator called TSF.
